I'm a rookie ski patroller and was looking for the right glove for work and play. This one fits the bill. Keeps my hands warm down to about 20 degees F and has the dexterity needed to handle ropes, fencing, tools, tobbogans, etc during my shifts. I've added silk glove liners for colder days and that gets me down to about 15 degrees without any extra bulk. The gloves had a broken in feel right out of the package. Too soon to say for sure, but these gloves look and feel as if they will be durable. I did have a false start on the sizing, based on my measurements and the sizing chart I initially ordered a size 10. These were definately too small, especially the finger length. I probably should have known as I wear 11's in other ski gloves. Quick and easy exchange for the larger size and I'm good to go with a perfect fit.
Really great quality, use them for slope maintenance no complaints.
Great value for quality gloves! I'm just a regular dude - a middle-aged, overweight, desk jockey, Dad - not staff at a ski hill, or a hardcore outdoor enthusiast as seen on many other Truck reviews. I just wanted a quality pair of gloves that will keep me warm in my crazy Canadian winters, and last for a while, at a reasonable price.
So far I'm pretty happy with the M1 Pro gloves. They feel and look great, and I'm confident, based on my initial outings and the quality of construction, that these won't fall apart after a few winter hikes.
So why not 5 stars?
1. Gloves could be warmer in the fingers. I know this is the constant challenge of gloves vs mitts, but they fingers did seem to get colder quicker than my old pair of elk skin gloves with far less insulation.
2. Finger length didn't fit. Again, I know hand and finger sizes are very different, but the extra space for my pinky fingers is quite long, but my other fingers fit better, so I don't see the value in exchanging for another size. Other brands I've owned had a better, more consistent fit across fingers.
3. I rarely give a 5-star review. If we always give companies full marks for their products they'll never have an incentive to get better. For me to give a 5-out-of-5 requires a product that is perfection. The M1 Pro Gloves aren't perfect, but they are damn good!
All in all, these are quality gloves at an unbeatable price, and I've started recommending these products to all my friends!
I have two pairs of the M1 Pro. I ski patrol for a living and have had plenty of different all leather gloves for work and I was disappointed with all of them until I found the M1 Pro. It’s very durable, warm, and has excellent dexterity. I naturally run pretty cold and these gloves are great for me around the 20 degree range, once it starts getting colder I add a liner or step it up to the M3.
Great fit , great warmth and at a great price .. thanks for keeping my fingers toasty on cold day at Solitude

DISTINCTIVE GLOVES/DISRUPTIVE PRICES
For five years I have traveled from coast to coast introducing TRUCK to the operational groups at nearly every ski resort from Maine to Washington. The goal was to build a glove that met the varied needs of the patrollers, lifties, snowmakers, and ski instructors who demand a quality product as well as one they can actually afford. And if we could do that, well, then we knew we had something good to offer.
Today we have a faithful following of resort employees who swear by the quality and costs we offer.
